Self was in Golden Gate Park today. She always pays special attention to the flowers, saving for future Flower of the Day posts.
Anyhoo, these shade plants were growing behind the Japanese Tea Garden, lining the steps to Stow Lake. And she thought they were pretty. And darn, she doesn’t know what they’re called. Lilies of some sort? She did some searching through her Sunset Westen Garden Book, but it was taking too long.

I have an aunt who lives there. When I was in my teens, I would go visit her. She lived real close to the park. 😀 😀

Lucky, lucky you! Maybe you should visit her again. Then we can do an in-person! 🙂

Wonderful photo, thanks for sharing. Did you take a cutting too? Shhh, I won’t tell. I took apple seeds from William Penn’s churchyard, but I couldn’t get them to grow.

No, I didn’t take a cutting. I have bad luck with cuttings.
