Well, here she is again, still with the series, and after this there is only one more book to go: Elly Griffiths plans to end the Ruth Galloway Series with next year’s book, The Last Remains.

The pull in these books is not the archaeology but the angst. She will miss hanging out with Ruth, Nelson, Michelle, Cathbad, Judy, and all the varied supporting characters. For now, she will share this droll sentence about Cathbad leading a yoga session with his children: Maddie, Michael, and Miranda. Thing is their dog.
- Miranda has wandered off to find Thing, who is excluded from yoga because he finds downward facing dog unbearably exciting.
Self doesn’t know why, but she couldnt’ stop laughing after she read that sentence.
