bushboys world: Last on the Card, 31 July 2022

Thank you, bushboys world, for hosting the Last on the Card challenge. It is good to look back, to see where one has been, the past month.

Well, self has been where she’s usually been, when she’s home: her garden!

It is a work in progress. Every single one of the plants here (except for the plum tree and the photinia) was something she added just this year. She doesn’t have a gardener, so she does all the hauling of soil and all the planting, herself.

After at least a dozen failed attempts to grow a bougainvillea over the years (all her memories of the Philippines have bougainvillea), this year she decided to give it another go. After two months, the bougainvillea is finally starting to put out new shoots!
