Trumpet vine is beautiful, but here it’s considered an invasive flower. It tends to take over when it can, but it’s quite lovely. Hard choices to make as a gardener.

I didn’t know that! It’s a good thing I kept it in a pot (pot might keep it in check). As it is, I just noticed the vines are snaking through the camellias AND the wisteria. If it keeps flowering like this, I won’t mind.

True, it grows abundantly down near the dunes here at Maroubra Beach.
