Thank you to Tina Schell of Travels and Trifles, host of this week’s Lens-Artists Challenge, Favorite Images of 2021.
- First and foremost, let me begin by wishing everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year. As always, the turn of the calendar page to January 1st brings with it an opportunity to begin anew ā having learned lessons, accomplished some of our goals, or perhaps having simply survived to start a new day. Whatever our thoughts about the year just passed, we once again have a chance to make the new one even better. — Tina Schell
Without further ado, here are self’s favorite images of 2021:

Despite the pandemic, self managed to do quite a lot of things in 2021.
HUH. Who would have thought?
Seems the vaccines do work!

Loved the little red table and the light on the cars especially although all are lovely. Lucky you for being out and about!!

Thaaaank you for the comment. I have been getting stir-crazy just staying home during lockdown. The day after Gov. Newsom lifted the lockdown order, my neighbors across the street went on a road trip — to Seattle! And they brought their 90+ grandmother! They didn’t come back for several weeks. After that, I did several road trips of my own.

Great selections. I love the point of view on the ferris wheel. Excellent.

Thank you so much! The ferris wheel picture was taken from the viewing deck of the de Young Museum in Golden Gate Park. One of my favorite museums ever.
