Self heard church bells tolling from somewhere nearby, this morning.
She needed to replenish her grocery supplies at Mendosa’s, the supermarket on Lansing Street. She decided to stop and take in the view at the botom of the street:

The great thing about getting groceries from Mendosa’s: the other end of Lansing Street has this view.

Evening, Mendocino Village: Walking home from the post office. Self discovered there is no mail delivery in Mendocino. Residents all have P. O. Boxes and the Post Office becomes an informal meeting place.

Mendocino, just after dark
This such a peaceful place. At night or early in the morning is when self most loves it. And the sunsets are just spectacular!
A friend’s been telling her to go to Elk, about 17 miles south. Might try driving there today.
Stay tuned, dear blog readers. Stay tuned.
