Must fly, dear ones!

Just came home from watching “Much Ado About Nothing” — fascinating, how different it is in feeling from Joss Whedon’s other work. But loved Amy Acker. And the idea of smooth-as-silk Sean Maher as villain.  Loved, too, the music.  And the trapeze artists in the garden.

Nathan Fillion completely steals the show during the last half, playing a dim-witted chief of security (Self still doesn’t know who/ why the bigshots were bigshots, why they needed all those bodyguards, etc.  But she really loved Whedon’s sly take on Shakesperean eavesdropping:  making the eavesdroppers agents, and using video surveillance to drive the point home.)
