Another Side to Colin Firth

Last night’s Oscar-winner is so articulate. Read this interview with him on politics, political films, and his website, Brightwide.

The accompanying picture is so gorgeous, too.

Self has loved Firth ever since the A & E “Pride and Prejudice.” His Darcy was magnetic. She remembers, in particular, his voice! So tense with repressed desire! (His co-star, Jennifer Ehle, reminded self of a young Anais Nin. Or Anais Nin in drag. Anyhoo, she was also in “The King’s Speech.” She played the wife of Geoffrey Rush. Talk about intersecting synchronicities!)

Stay tuned, dear blog readers. Stay tuned.
