Downey and Galifianakis: What a Pair

Self still in rather mournful post-World Series mood.  This afternoon, given the choice between finishing “Clash of the Titans” or watching a re-play of Game 4 of the World Series, the one pitched by Madison Bumgarner, self of course chose the latter.  Self gets such wicked delight over watching the close-ups of faces of the Rangers fans!

Earlier, self had her Robert Downey fix for the fall.

Self really means it:  What. A. Pair.

Self will be the first to admit she is not a Galifianakis fan, having successfully resisted all his movies to date.  (She even had to look up the spelling of his name, for goodness’ sakes!  But she is a fan of Downey, and is both bemused by and grateful for his mid-career resurgence (Thank you, Jon Favreau!)

So today she was at the first screening of “Due Date.”
