CHEERS!! JUBILATION !!!

Fireworks exploding from the neighboring houses!  Cars honking as they speed down the street!  Screams!  Yells!  It is noisy outside!

(Poor li’l Gracie hiding under the dining room table, her tail between her legs!)

Series MVP Renteria ??? YEEES !!!

Lincecum was magnificent!  Hats off as well to Matt Cain (pitched Game 2) and Madison Bumgarner (pitched Game 4)!  All these guys are in their early or mid-20s.  Hope they’ll remain Giants for a long, looong time!

Bittersweet moment:  the last time self will see Brian Wilson cross his arms and point to the sky.

2nd night in a row, self did not cook dinner!  Hubby surviving on beer, chips, and salsa!

Bruce Bochy, you are genius!  Sheer genius!

Bochy for Governor!

(Lincecum in the post-game interview:  Wow, take a look at those arms!  For a skinny guy, that is some major, major musculature!)

Stay tuned.

I know this is racist, but I think it’s great that they had a Fillipino pitcher leading the way and their best pinch hitter was half-Japanese. It’s sort of fitting for the team that signed Masanori Murakami back when I was a kid.
Now if Cody Ross had just not sprinted out to shake George W. Bush’s hand.

Anyway, that was really fun. I even forgot how far behind the Padres they got in August or that John Bowker was their starting right fielder on opening day.

Oh, it is not racist. I love the way Lincecum constantly brings up the fact that one reason he feels he fits in with the Giants is that San Francisco is a very multi-ethnic city. Not that Seattle isn’t, come to think of it. But Lincecum himself emphasizes that the multicultural thing is an aspect he is grateful for.

What a guy. He looks great regardless of whether he is wearing muscle shirts or bow ties.
