Kundiman, Pepe, & Oh What a Beautiful Day, Self Finally Had Her House Cleaned

Today Mauricio came.  He was supposed to come two months ago but got too busy.  Self can’t insist, since he gives her a “special rate” for his services, ha ha haaaa!

The house was getting pretty depressing.  Now everything’s OK again with self’s brain.

Of course, since the house was so over-due for cleaning, Mauricio and his helpers had to stay almost the entire day.  Which meant self was in the backyard, in the cold, with the two li’l crits.  She got a lot of weeding done, though!

Then, she got an announcement on Facebook, from Joseph O. Legaspi.  Kundiman is once again open for applications.  Self happened to mention that the son of a good friend had been a participant in a Kundiman workshop, a few years ago.  At the time, he was an undergraduate at Carnegie Mellon.  Joseph immediately knew who it was.  Is that amazing, or what?

Following, the abridged version of the official announcement for Kundiman:
