The Weekend Just Ended

Self missed out on seeing “Bruno.” (Hubby gives it “2 and a half out of four stars”)

Self tried cooking an eye of round beef roast in the crockpot (came out like mechado).

Self gave a reading (yesterday, at the Foothill Writers Conference) from a work-in-progress, and was heartened by the response.

Self’s last two workshops at the Foothill Writers Conference (on what prose writers can learn from poetry, and on revising the “voice-driven” story) were very well attended.
