Burning Questions of the Day

It is June.  Why is it still so cold?

Wouldn’t you say that the man who shot the security guard at the Holocaust Museum yesterday looks (vaguely) like Byron De La Beckwith (the man who shot Medgar Evers)?  Or perhaps it is just that the pictures self has seen of De La Beckwith are of him as an old man, and yesterday’s shooter was 88?  How does a man live to be 88 and have no wisdom?

Why is “Wolverine” still in theatres?

Why is “Angels and Demons” still in theatres?

Why is “The Brothers Bloom” still in theatres?

If self makes the amo (English translation: employer) in her story really really mean, will anyone believe it?  Or will people get so depressed they will stop reading?

Why does self write such depressing stories?

Or, rather:  why do people find self’s stories so depressing?  When self, while writing, is always laughing her head off?

How much cash should self give son for his graduation?

How much cash will hubby manage to cough up for son’s graduation?

Would it be wise to drop certain hints to Dearest Mum that son would appreciate a graduation present?  But wouldn’t this question best be put in the presence of Dearest Mum?  But how can she ever hope to catch up with Dearest Mum, when aunt spirits her off at the crack of dawn?  Just now, for instance, self tried calling, and they are once again in some mall.  Trying on skirts.

Stop it, self!  Just stop it!  Keep writing, or you’ll miss the matinee screening of xxxx movie!

Stay tuned, dear blog readers, stay tuned.
