Son . . .  whom she hasn’t seen since New Year’s (!!!)  And self was so excited when he walked in the door that she forgot how to take a proper picture (Sorry much, dear blog readers, for blurred photo!)

Next, Joel Tan, whose reading this evening at The Gallery (just in back of the Printer’s Inc. Coffeeshop on 320 California Street, in Palo Alto) was so —  so — magnificent!  Yes, it was, Joel!  You blew the audience away!  Self knows, because she was watching their faces!  And she and Joel were the only Filipinos in the audience.  So, kinship —  it speaks volumes.
