Tuesday, April

Today, extremely windy.

Contemplating applying to a residency in Europe for next year (Gulp — 2010 already??? How did this happen?).

It would be great if self could do a residency in Venice! Alas, to self’s knowledge, there are none.

Margarita D is well. Likewise, UCLA class. Dearest Mum in absentia. Last time self checked, was spending Holy Week in Hong Kong.

Left message with niece G yesterday: Want to go out for dinner?

Letterman was in fine form last night. Oh, he was in fine form. Kept self in stitches.

Today: hunting around for silver-leafed plants. Read somewhere that they take sun very well. Something about a substance in the leaves. Deflecting sun. Or something, anyway, to that effect.

Ran out of evaporated milk for self’s coffee.

Today, self teaches in NDNU Writing Center. Much rioutous fun, much holding of the hands, much correction of punctuation, much pruning of verbiage. There is a small nursery in the Carlmont Shopping Center, less than a mile away 🙂

Stay tuned, dear blog readers, stay tuned.
