The Dropping of the Other Shoe

Self will be teaching five courses this semester. Got that? Five.

Two minutes ago, self was as complacent as could be. Then she got the idea to call over to xxxx community college, just to check if there had been any sign-ups for “Contemporary Fiction,” a course self is teaching for the first time. Which she was sure would not make the minimum enrollment of 18.

And guess what, dear blog readers! There are 20 students in the class! So it is a go!

And now self has palpitations! Because that means she will teach every day, not to mention have two classes a day!

Is the universe playing a massive joke on self? Or is this Beloved Ying’s way of saying: I don’t want you to feel bad, so I fixed it that you would be so busy this semester you wouldn’t have time for a nervous breakdown.

Stay tuned, dear blog readers, stay tuned.

The blogging challenge keep you motivated and start the new year on the "write" track!
