The Phone Rings Again

It’s over, dear blog readers.

Ying passed away an hour ago. At first self thought: Oh God, she never made it to her birthday. Stupid thought.

But suddenly self realizes: It’s morning on the 11th in Tel Aviv.

I am so so sorry. I came across your blog some months ago, and have enjoyed your musings on life and especially literature and film.
Ying was prayed for and thought about in this corner of France. Be kind to yourself.

    Dear Ver, Yosef, and Margaret,

Though I don’t know how I can endure it, the loss is alleviated by words like yours. Thank you so much for reaching out.

I’m so sorry. So sorry. I woke up an hour ago and had a very strong urge to pray for Ying. I said a Divine Mercy chaplet for her. God welcome her into Everlasting Life.
